This lovely scarf comes with its own matching drawstring bag. The shibori fabric is a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship of artisans in India.
Shibori is a traditional Japanese textile dyeing technique. Each length of fabric is manually folded, stitched and then dyed in small batches. The result is this diamond pattern created by the resist effect of the folds. If you look closely, you can see tiny needle holes and folds in the fabric. Four tassels are then attached to corners. This beautiful handwork pattern is created especially for Beach to Bistro.
Shibori Scarf comes in matching Shibori drawstring, tasseled bag.
Because of the hand-crafted nature of the fabric, no two scarves will be exactly alike and variations capture the unique beauty of this ancient artisan technique.
